Yesterday, ie.. on 5th May, 2008 MIT institute entrance exam was conducted. I also gave the same exam which went nicely. This was the first design exam that I gave in my life. Before that I was preparing for Engineering (IIT-JEE , AIEEE etc.) . The exam was held in “Bharti Vidhyapeeth’s College of Engineering”, DELHI . We were given to enter the exam hall at 9:30 AM and exam started at exact 10 AM.
We were given a Small COMB, 2 tooth picks, 2 teaspoon of SALT & PEPPER in a transparent pouch. Cool.. I though that it was a FREE GIFT for appearing in exam .
Unfortunately, Later I came to know that It was actually a question. lol. The question was that we have to spread the SALT and PEPPER and seperate it with the help of COMB and TOOTH PICKS.
. This was the most confusing question for me. A girl sitting back started screaming ”Oh, Yeh kya hai?” means “What the HELL IS THIS?”
. Doohh.. Well, all other questions were damn easy.
Hmmm… Let me remember what all questions came.
Yes, First question was : There were 3 images given in the question . The pictures were of “A Pair of Shoes, A BABY & Traffic Jam.” and the question was that we have to imagine and sketch and describe the event or experince if we were anyone of the above pciture. I chose SHOES .
. Why? Because making shoes is quite easy than a Baby or Traffic jam.
Second Question: We were given 3 rectangle boxes where 27 lines were drawn. I know this sounds easy , but it was not. It was so much irritating. Well, still I completed it.
Okay, I am not going to do your precious time waste. So, the questions were all like this. If you want to know more question, just write a comment below and I will be back to you asap. Well, some questions were related to aptitude too.
Conclusion, You should be fast and good in drawing
. I really dont know how these questions are checked… I think on the basis of imagination not drawing. What do you say? and Yes, anyone know that COMB, TOOTH PICK question which I wrote above? :-S
